David Ryback, PHD, ABPP
David Ryback, Ph.D. is a consultant and speaker on personal, sports and organizational success working under the banner of EQ Associates International in Atlanta, Ga. An active member of the National Speakers Association, his experience encompasses business management and sports consulting, as well as teaching at Emory University’s School of Business. His diverse client list includes the National Football League, the U.S. Dept. of Defense, Environmental Protection Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), financial institutions, manufacturers—both domestic and international, health care organizations, and national outlets. On a personal note, David runs the 10K Peachtree Road Race every year and holds belts in judo, kenpo karate and tae-kwon-do. David has been a book critic for a number of magazines. He is on the editorial board of Georgia Psychologist, and has been book columnist for Speaker, the magazine of the National Speakers Association, with a distribution of over 5,000 to the most influential speakers across the globe. One of his presentations covers the most creative and effective ways to raise achievement through enhanced management skills.
David is the author of over 70 professional articles and innumerable book reviews in such publications as Psychology Today, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Creative Loafing, AHP Perspective, Business to Business magazine among others. He has been a professor at the University of Maryland (Overseas Division), the University of West Georgia, Georgia State University and Emory University School of Business. He earned his B.Sc. with Honors in Psychology at McGill University, his M.S. at San Diego State, and his Ph.D. at the University of Hawaii.
